Dr. Linda Eckert, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Washington, will discuss her efforts to stop cervical cancer. Her book Enough: Because We Can Stop Cervical Cancer addresses the cultural issues that have contributed to the continued deaths of women with cervical cancer, despite having a vaccine and screening that can prevent it.

Eckert has more than 30 years of experience in public health and has worked around the world in direct patient care and as a consultant in cervical cancer prevention.
